Susan Anton was known as a blonde bombshell and competed in a number of beauty pageants in the late 1960s. Moreover, Anton appeared in a number of commercials for "Serta"s Perfect Sleeper mattress," and was a recognized singer for product jingles. After taking on approximately 30 appearances on Merv Griffin"s TV shows, she was given her own show together with country singer Mel Tillis. Her 80s single "Killin" Time" took a spot on the country charts.
